I am now offering violin rentals for new and existing students. Please contact me for availability, sizes & prices.
I will be holding a recital for piano, violin and viola students at the South Country Library on Saturday, December 4th at 1:30 PM.
All are welcome! Hot cider and refreshments will be served.
If you’re on the fence about lessons I encourage you to come down and meet me.
Students of South Country School District who sign up for music lessons on or before October 31st will get an entire month of lessons for FREE (this includes the “one free lesson”).
Valid for violin, piano and viola for students of any SCCSD school including Bellport High School, Bellport Middle School, Frank P. Long Intermediate, Brookhaven Elementary, Verne W. Critz Elementary and Kreamer St. Elementary.
As a BHS graduate and former orchestra member, I look forward to helping current students with their NYSSMA, LISFA and SCMEA performances and to make playing music a fun and rewarding experience.
If you are a student of another school district, such as Sachem, William Floyd, Sayville, Longwood, etc., please contact me to see what specials are available in your area.
Bellport village residents are now eligible to receive music lessons in their home for the same price as lessons in my studio. Much of the additional cost of lessons in the home is made up of gas, vehicle wear-and-tear and additional driving time. These costs all go down with the distance between us, and as a fellow Bellport village resident, I am able to pass the savings on to my neighbors.
Mention this special when contacting me.
NYSSMA is coming up so remember to order your sheet music. If you do not have your piece memorized, you will need a copy of your NYSSMA piece for yourself and the judge. It’s always better, however, to have your piece memorized. Contact me if you need any extra help or supplemental lessons before your performance.
Congratulations to all my violin and viola students in LISFA and SCMEA. I know you will do great. Good luck!
All new students receive one free lesson when they sign up with no obligations to continue. Schedule yours today and see if you like it. What have you got to lose?
It’s time to begin preparations for NYSSMA in May. Book lessons to help with your solo, scales and improve your sight reading skills. All levels welcome.
The Atlantic Wind Symphony will perform at the Patchogue Theater on Sunday, March 3rd. They will be playing Jupiter by Gustav Holst (the song I keep telling my students about where the stick of the bow is used instead of the hair!), and some selections from Phantom of the Opera.
